CALL FOR ENTRIES
Chicago Short Film Brigade seeks short films, videos, and digital works of all genres to be considered for quarterly screenings. We’re an ongoing series open to submissions from directors of all ages and levels of filmmaking experience.
We look for short films of all types, including flukes, epics, first-timers, experimental, animation, dramas, documentaries, music videos, etc.
Each show presents a diverse selection of local and international films as part of a carefully curated, cohesive program. Film Brigade screens ongoing community-based shows for a live audience, bringing uncommon films to the general public.
Awards are given at annual “Best Of” at the Gene Siskel Film Center each year.

REGARDING FEE WAIVER REQUESTS
We’re a tiny all-volunteer non-profit org and count on entry fees to keep the show going. As independent filmmakers (with projects currently in fests), we totally understand entry fees are often a blow to tender budgets. We salute you for asking, but please note that Fee Waiver requests are rarely granted.
REGARDING PACKAGING
Please send DVD ONLY in simple, compact, and minimal packaging. Additional materials like CD press kits, postcards, and one-sheets will immediately be discarded. Please leave case free of stickers or permanent inks. We re-use and recycle DVD cases.
Fiberfill envelopes or “cushion mailers” will not be opened. No joke. This kind of packaging is dangerous for our equipment. We’ll throw fiberfills and cushion mailers right in the trash and Mother Earth will be crying. Because of you.
